Devotions |
LOVE
Love is the foundation of our being and its influence never ends.
"Now abide in faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love". 1 Corinthians 13:13
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy god with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
strength, and with all thy mind: and thy neighbor as thyself". Luke 10:27
WORRY
Don't let worries and anxiousness dictate your life and actions. We must learn to
hold onto our faith and trust in God. The troubles and concerns of life are just too large and tough
for us to tackle by ourselves. We must have an open heart and mind to receive what God may
be trying to teach us or the path He is trying to lead us in order for us to receive our blessings.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your request be made known to God". Philippians 4:6
"No other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ". 1 Corinthians 3:11

Prayer |
PRAYER: Our prayer service is open to the community and the Mt. Zion Church Family invites your presence.
There's Power In Prayer!!!
"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick?
He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the
prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
Therefore confess you sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a
righteous man is powerful and effective".
James 5:13-16
